Privacy policy
Seamingly explains why clothing-making choices work. You can learn as a guest; a Seamingly account is optional for syncing progress.
Information used by the app
- Learning on your device. Seamingly saves lesson progress, practice responses, saved ideas, project checklists, optional project notes, preferences and your local reminder choice. Calculator entries are used for the current calculation; Seamingly does not store a body-measurement profile.
- Optional account and sync. If you create an account, Supabase processes your email address, authentication information and account identifier. When you sign in, learning saved on that device merges with and syncs to your account automatically; you can also request a sync on the Account screen. The snapshot can include progress, practice history, saved ideas, checklists and notes. Guest learning is not sent to Supabase while you remain a guest.
- Purchases. Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat receives a customer identifier and purchase or entitlement information to verify access, restore purchases and support purchase reporting. If you sign in, Seamingly connects its purchase-service identifier with your account identifier. Seamingly does not receive your full card number from Apple.
- Support and website. If you email us or use the contact form on seamingly.ca, we receive the details you send. GoDaddy hosts the website. Its current form uses Google reCAPTCHA, and its cookie notice offers traffic-analysis cookies. The form also offers an optional updates sign-up.
Why we use it
On-device information lets you resume learning. An optional account lets you restore and sync progress across signed-in devices. Purchase information lets the app grant only store-verified access and helps with restoration and support. We use support messages to respond to you. We do not sell learning data or use lesson answers or measurements for advertising.
The app does not upload your photographs or contacts, and it does not send calculator measurements to the account service. Service providers may process technical information needed to operate their services.
Your choices and deletion
You can keep learning as a guest and reset local progress in the app. If you have an account, Delete account and synced progress requests deletion of your Seamingly account, cloud learning snapshot and linked RevenueCat customer record, then clears account-linked learning on that device. RevenueCat deletion may finish asynchronously. If the action fails, email seaminglysewer@gmail.com.
Deleting an account or uninstalling Seamingly does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account. Apple retains transaction records under its own rules. A restored Apple purchase can still provide paid access to a guest after account deletion.
Guest learning stays on the device until you reset it or remove the app, subject to device backup behaviour. Signed-in learning remains in your account until you delete it. Service providers may retain operational records under their own policies and applicable obligations.
Service providers
Supabase provides optional account authentication and sync. Resend delivers account-confirmation and password-reset emails and processes the recipient address and message for that purpose. RevenueCat processes purchase status and entitlements. Apple handles App Store billing. GoDaddy hosts the main seamingly.ca site and Google reCAPTCHA protects its current contact form. Netlify hosts these privacy and support pages.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when Seamingly's practices change and show a new effective date. For privacy questions, access or deletion help, email seaminglysewer@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords, full payment details or sensitive measurements.
